Now what is going on?

Wow, since July 24th we have had a busy time here at our house. Going with Rita to so many graduation parties and getting her ready for her trip to Indonesia to join Chuck and his family. Not only will she be able to enjoy Indonesia but she also gets to go to Australia! Taking Rita to NYC for her flight and spending my Birthday with Robert and Erin.

Daily updates and photos on our Hadley from Seattle and daily phone calls from Edward in Vermont...who loves to talk to Me Ma and Pa Pa! Busy time and great memories!

This past weekend we celebrated Grandpa Ball's 82nd birthday while camping as an extended family of all of his children and as many of his grandchildren and great grandchildren that could come to Moreau State Campground, Moreau, NY.
There was a flag flown over the White House on his birthday for his years in the Marines, his service as an Honor Guard for Harry S. Truman's inauguration, and to honor his birthday!

We never got a group photo, how forgetful we are getting, with our new Ball family shirts that Chuck got for the whole family, but here is the favorite photo subject of everyone from camping. Our photogenic grandson, Edward.

July here and lots going on

Our grandson, Edward is growing strong. He attended his Whitcomb Aunt's wedding, on June 26th, in VT., with his parents. Here is their family photo but the handsomest one was Edward in the Tuxedo made by Me Ma Darleena! Channah is getting bigger and waiting, albeit impatiently for our granddaughter, in Seattle for Labor pains. When you get close to the due date, July 25th, you do not want to hear the news that you may go past the due date by one or two weeks! Yet, this is the news the Dr. shared with her. Perhaps our granddaughter wants to share her Daddy's, Tyler, birthday of July 31?

Rita is all graduated now! Preparing for her trip to visit Chuck and the family in Indonesia then she will be off to College! Changes in our home!

Whoo, boy oh boy, can we keep up with all of these changes?

Busy times in Galway, NY

Wow, here it is June 15th and so much is happening here.

1. Channah flew into Vermont and we had a baby shower for her at a restaurant by Naomi's house, Erin and Naomi did a great job with the planning and the novelties. Even Great Grandpa Ball and Edward Whitcomb got in some cuddling time. Generation 1 with generation 4.

2. Miyoko and the grandchildren flew in on June 7th and we have been having a lot of fun doing things with them. Chuck flies into NYC today. We will join him there tomorrow and go to a Yankee game then get back to Galway to be together for Saturday. They will all fly out on June 21st.

3. What is Saturday? June 19th and we will be celebrating Charles and Leola Ball's 60th wedding anniversery party at a restaurant in downtown Saratoga Springs.

4. Sunday is Father's day and Rita and I will be busy with our annual Father's Day Breakfast fundraiser then at 2 pm we will have Rita's graduation party. Rita will have her actual graduation on June 26th. Right now she is taking a lot of tests.

See I told you there is a lot going on!

Stay posted!

Me Ma meets Great Grandchild # 8!

Naomi has been busy with Edward growing so fast and enjoys sending us video's and photos. She sent one yesterday. The files are usually too big to upload but he looked so cute as a little farmer in his coverall's already!
Hope you all enjoy this one! We did. Leola Ball (MeMa to my kids) celebrated her 80th birthday and met Edward, her 8th great grandchild) for the first time on April 10th, when we celebrated Easter as a family and her birthday. Her real birthday was March 14th but Edward didn't come on her birthday and she was in Myrtle Beach for her usual winter break.
In this photo you can see Edward is very charming to her and she is charmed by him. Isn't family wonderful! Growing and extending!

Edward has arrived!

Sorry we haven't been blogging much. Life sometimes gets us busy! Here is Naomi and Ben's son Edward Benjamen Whitcomb. Born on St Patrick's Day, March 17, 2010. He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces and was delivered by c-section!

Naomi had a hard time near the end of her pregnancy with a B/P problem, and gestational diabetes. Finally for 2 1/2 weeks she was put on bed rest.

Even though it was 2 weeks early Edward started coming on the 16th after Naomi's water broke at 11 pm. Problems arose on the 17th requiring a c-section. As long as Mom and Baby are fine it is in God's hands!

He is just lovely, cute, and handsome! Mom, Dad, and Baby are home from the hospital now and doing fine. Mom definitely needs to rest though!

Channah is not due until July 25th, 2010 and is now 21 weeks pregnant! Tyler and Channah are having a girl! Here is Channah showing us our new Grandaughter at 20 weeks.

Two Grand babies in one year, no wonder we haven't been able to blog much!

Pa Pa and Me Ma Ball!!!!
