So for now I will blog today on what went on for January 9 and 10. Rita and Charlie were scheduled to go to New York City and do a short term mission trip with Chosen People ( http://www.chosenpeople.org/main/ )
ministry to the Jewish people. At the last minute, due to the frigid cold weather, there were cancellations and I got to go along also. It was so eye opening and interesting to see their work that has been going on for over 100 years. Not only in New York City but around the world wherever there are significant Jewish communities. I knew about the Israel outreach but there were so many more countries they are in. 
We would encourage anyone interested in Messianic Jewish outreach to call and schedule a visit to them. It definitely was an eye opener! Just bring along your walking shoes as we did loads of walking. We visited different Jewish neighborhoods. We visited and were participating in a Messianic Jewish Service also. We also visited a Jewish museum but that wasn't as impressive as visiting with the people we met and the museum was really trying to be politically correct in how they presented their material. God isn't politically correct about what we are to believe through his word and I am so glad!
